1. Set a goal

Why are you creating content? Who do you want to read it? What do you want to happen next? For most of you out there the answers might be slightly different. But by answering these questions for yourself you will keep your plan on track to achieving your goals. Remember to check in with this from time to time to make sure you haven’t strayed. 2. Make it shareable

This is probably the hardest part, but the most important. If your readers find your content useful and clickable they will share it, to hopefully others who will also share it and thus the cycle begins. Whether you use wit or humour, shock or awe make it memorable. We see so much in the media these days, that this part is crucial. You have a few seconds to capture someones attention. 

3. Tell your story

What separates you from the competition: YOU. So let other people in on the secret. Get people to fall for you and then will buy into what you are selling. Have you overcome a struggle? Have you used your great-grandmother’s recipe? Whatever makes you and your brand unique, shout about it. Remember to be genuine and connect with people, give them a story they want to pass on! The best form of advertising is word of mouth.
